BUTTER TARTS FROM HER CHILDHOOD

1 recipe double-crust pie dough     
1/3 cup butter
½ cup golden corn syrup
½ cup brown sugar
½ to 2/3 cup raisins
½ tsp. vanilla
¼ tsp. salt
1 egg

Line greased muffin trays with pastry rounds. Melt butter in saucepan and add all ingredients except the egg. Cool. Beat egg slightly and add to raisin mixture. Pour lined tins 2/3 full with raisin mixture. Bake at 425 F for about 10 minutes.
